2...4...6..8...Who Do You Appreciate?

"2...4...6...8... Box"
This is called the "2, 4, 6, 8 Box" because it's scored at 2", 4", 6", & 8".
This box is super cute & super easy to make.

I used the "Polka Dots & Paisley Bundle" to create this box.

First, cut your 8-1/2" X 11" piece of card stock in half.
You will have two pieces that are 8-1/2" X 5-1/2".
Use Jumbo "Petals" Wheel and Old Olive ink to cover the card stock.

Score at 2", 4", 6", & 8".

Turn CS once, and score again at 2".
This will be the bottom of the box.

Cut 2" bottoms on score lines. You will make 4 cuts.
Now, you will have a small corner edge to cut off.

Use "Sticky Strip" on the 1/2" strip.

Fold and close box.

Fold up the 4 bottoms of the box.
Use "Sticky Strip to attach the bottom.

Fill box with goodies for a special friend.

Fold in 2 sides.

The box is finished. At this point you can punch 2 holes in the top and tie a bow to keep it closed.

I am going to continue with the box and add accessories.

Cut a 2" X 3-1/2"piece of "Designer Series Paper."
U
se crimper to crimp it.

Fold crimped "Designer Series Paper" over top of box and punch 2 holes at the top.

Lace ribbon through holes and tie a bow.

Stamp and punch tag. Use hole punch to punch a hole at the top. Lace small string through hole and attach to the bow on the box.
