Shaving Cream Technique

Try the "Shaving Cream" technique.
You'll get a different result each time!

First, spray shaving cream onto a plate.

Drop a few drops of re-inker onto the shaving cream. Don't get the colors too close together...or you'll get a "muddy" look.
I used Yoyo Yellow, Green Galore, and Pretty In Pink.

Use a stylus, toothpick, or something with a small point to "stir" the color. Be careful... don't let the colors run together. You may get a "muddy" effect.

The shaving cream should look something like this.

Press card stock into the shaving cream.

Lift off card stock.

Use a spatula to scrape off the shaving cream.

Let it dry for a minute or two.

Stamp image using "Basic Black" ink.

Outline the stamped image with Green Galore and Regal Rose "Stampin' Write" markers.

Add glue and "Dazzling Diamonds" glitter to the center of the flower.

Stamp large "doodle" stamp with "Green Galore" ink on to "Green Galore" card stock.

Attach stamped image to the front of the card.

You're done!

2...4...6..8...Who Do You Appreciate?

"2...4...6...8... Box"
This is called the "2, 4, 6, 8 Box" because it's scored at 2", 4", 6", & 8".
This box is super cute & super easy to make.

I used the "Polka Dots & Paisley Bundle" to create this box.

First, cut your 8-1/2" X 11" piece of card stock in half.
You will have two pieces that are 8-1/2" X 5-1/2".
Use Jumbo "Petals" Wheel and Old Olive ink to cover the card stock.

Score at 2", 4", 6", & 8".

Turn CS once, and score again at 2".
This will be the bottom of the box.

Cut 2" bottoms on score lines. You will make 4 cuts.
Now, you will have a small corner edge to cut off.

Use "Sticky Strip" on the 1/2" strip.

Fold and close box.

Fold up the 4 bottoms of the box.
Use "Sticky Strip to attach the bottom.

Fill box with goodies for a special friend.

Fold in 2 sides.

The box is finished. At this point you can punch 2 holes in the top and tie a bow to keep it closed.

I am going to continue with the box and add accessories.

Cut a 2" X 3-1/2"piece of "Designer Series Paper."
U
se crimper to crimp it.

Fold crimped "Designer Series Paper" over top of box and punch 2 holes at the top.

Lace ribbon through holes and tie a bow.

Stamp and punch tag. Use hole punch to punch a hole at the top. Lace small string through hole and attach to the bow on the box.
