Kid's Craft Class-Fall 2009 - Week 8

These are the projects for this week's Kid's Class.
A Puzzle, Box, & Reindeer Card.

After stamping and coloring the chipboard, the kids will be able to use my Cuttlebug & Puzzle Die to cut out the puzzle pieces.  I found the white boxes at Dollar Tree (we'll use the box to hold the puzzle pieces).

Rudolph & friends were made with a little ink & a thumbprint.

Kid's Craft Class-Fall 2009 - Week 7

These are the projects for the kid's class this week.  A Wish List made using a chipboard coaster and a Photo Cube.  The Photo Cube involves a lot of paper-piecing.  Most of the paper-piecing templates were found at My Scrap Chick.   Close-ups of the images on the photo cube are below...

 

Kid's Craft Class-Fall 2009 - Week 6

These are the projects for the kids class this week.  They will use the paper piecing technique to create the Snowman Card.  Template found at My Scrap Chick.  A Holiday Gum Holder.  And a paper Mug Pocket Card to hold a packet of hot cocoa mix.

Kid's Craft Class-Fall 2009 - Week 5

These are this week's projects for the Kid's Class I am teaching.

The large turkey is a napkin holder.
Scarecrow and small turkey are Peppermint Patty covers.
Pumpkin Pie is filled with treats.  Box template can be found HERE at Penny Duncan Creations.

Kid's Craft Class-Fall 2009 - Week 4 -China, Part 2

This week the students are stamping and folding a Take-Out Box.
Stamping, folding, & stitching the Mini Fan, then attaching a magnet on to the back side.
Also, they'll stamp & fold 4 Fortune Pockets.  Then write their own fortunes on the fortune paper.
They will also make the Panda Face using punches.  A Peppermint Patty is sandwiched between the panda face and a panda back with a round tail.
The last project is a Panda Nugget Holder, made with punches.  This project holds a Hershey's Nugget.

Kid's Craft Class - Fall 2009 - Week 3 -China, Part 1

These are the 3 projects we'll make this week.  The theme for the next 2 weeks is China.

Project 1 is a box to hold Tangram pieces.  Look HERE for a cool tangram website. 

Project 2 is a Chinese paper lantern, stamped with Asian images. 

And the third project is an Asian flower card made with rice paper.

Kid's Craft Class -Fall 2009 - Week 2

These are the projects for this weeks Kid's Class.  The mummy is a decorated Hershey's bar.  Frankenstein is a box with treats inside.  The bat and pumpkin cards are made using the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge.

These are the first 3 projects the kids will be making in the After School Enrichment class I am teaching.  I'll have new projects for the kids to make each week.  The skeleton and spidery streamers are attached to a large Pixy Stix.  The ghost and Frankenstein boxes are filled with candy.

These are the pieces included in your Mini Scrapbook Kit.

1. Attach 5x5 piece of Designer Series paper to front cover.

2. Add 5x5 piece of Designer Series paper to page 1.

3. Add 2x5 strip of Designer Series paper to page 1.

4. Tape green 5x5 piece into pocket on page 2.

5. Add 2x5 strip of Designer Series paper to page 3.

6. Add 5x5 Designer Series paper to page 5.

7. Tape green 5x5 piece into pocket on page 6.

8. Decorate your album with the adhesive die-cuts.
Use the extra pieces of card stock for journaling or attach photos to them. These can be stored in the pockets.

There are so many different ways to decorate your album.
This is how I chose to decorate mine.

Mother's Day Kit Card Tutorial

These are the pieces included in the card kit.

1. Do not put tape on all of the yellow piece, only on the top.

2. Attach yellow strip to the bottom of card.

3. Attach strip of Designer Series Paper.

4. Wrap ribbon around card. Tie 2 knots.

5. Peal paper backing off the back of large white flower.
6. Attach the large white flower.
7. Attach the small yellow flower.

8. Attach the pearl.
You are done!

Centerpiece Album Class

It's finally available!!! The Centerpiece Album Class!!!

I was waiting to have this class because I wanted to use the new Designer Series Papers in the new Idea Book & Catalog. The papers are awesome to work with because they are double sided, so you have double the color choices! The papers can be found on pages 168-171 in the new Idea Book & Catalog. I have 12 choices to choose from.

When opened, the album is 12" wide and 6" tall. It opens into 4 sections to add photos and journaling. It makes a beautiful centerpiece and a great conversation starter.

When the album is closed, it folds into a small 6" X 6" size. This makes it perfect for storing and great for gift giving. What a great Christmas gift for family and friends! Even mailing it is easy!
